Ramadhan Kareem

17 Aug

It’s the time of the year again where all Muslims around the world celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan. Ramadhan never fails to teach us the way to be patience and fast ourselves from eating and drinking and do things that can break ourselves from it, ie : KOREK HIDUNG! Lol. So as everyone knows, bazaar Ramadhan is the most glorious never-ending trend during this festivity. From local kuih to any kind of food from all over Malaysia, you can practically find anything at the bazaar. For instance, there’s always the healthy Tau Foo Faa made with soy beans, the famous murtabak, roti johns in various sizes (long, small, mini, wtv), nasi kerabu, nasi arab, nasi berlauk and so many more! As for me, I will always find my all-time favourite popia sardin and apam balik, which I only eat the kurus type, and also keropok lekor (kurus type too!) as soon as I arrived at the bazaar. Hehe. To my own surprise, I actually haven’t been to any of the bazaars YET this time because, well, there’s always more than enough food to eat at home. Alhamdulillah. I have four aunts living in the same area at my house, and yes all of them are so generous (including my father), when they cook they will always send it to each other’s house. So how can they not be many food during berbuka? One thing about Ramadhan, it’s not always about food and of course there’s always other important things for you to stress on. You are encouraged to topup your good deeds and give it all to Him. This is the best time indeed. Fasting during Ramadhan is not just about disciplining the body to restrain from food and water, in fact we also need to refrain from unlawful desires. InsyaAllah. SELAMAT BERPUASA, EVERY MUSLIMS OUT THERE! 🙂

Ramadhan Al-Mubarak 🙂
